Seven staff members forming part of the third cohort of the ‘Leadership Passport’ program of the Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) has today officially received their travel documents from the High Commissioner of India to Seychelles, Mr. Rohit Rathish, to start their internship at the India Revenue Service in New Delhi.
The structured initiative made successful through the collaboration of the High Commission of India for Seychelles forms part of SRC’s ongoing transformation journey, aimed at developing emerging talents with best practices in operational efficiency, technological innovation, project management and service excellence.
The five-day internship to be undertaken at the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) from 18 to 22 May 2026, will focus on project INSIGHT, covering key areas of data analytics, risk management, tax intelligence and crime investigation, international taxation, taxpayer management system, exchange of information and best practices being adopted by India Revenue Service.
Following the leadership development in India, the staff members will, through the learnings gathered, deliver a presentation to the SRC management team, in addition to proposing an organizational development that can bring about a process change, new tools or project proposal to further drive transformative improvements across SRC.
The third cohort of the ‘Leadership Passport’ program led by the Commissioner of Tax, Ms. Gayathri Chetty includes Director Project and Modernization, Mrs. Moyra Chetty, Acting Manager Tax Investigation, Mr. Sanjay Cesar, Internal Audit Manager, Mrs. Betyna Denis, International Tax Officer, Mrs. Mary-Lucie Sullivan, Information Technology Analyst, Mr. Bryan Florentine, Project Analyst, Mrs. Brigitte Ally.
The SRC remains grateful to the High Commission of India for Seychelles for the ongoing support, commitment and swift planning in facilitating the trip.
The SRC will continue to work with the High Commission of India to explore ways of strengthening technical expertise, to elevate the effectiveness of its administration and increase efficiencies in line with its transformation agenda.
