The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) has recently opened doors to its new customer service office in Anse Royale as part of its commitment to improve operational efficiency and taxpayer’s satisfaction.
The new office located in Maison Royale building (ex. CSB building) adjacent to the University of Seychelles has been operational since Tuesday 23 December 2025.
As from 5 January 2026, the dedicated location will serve taxpayers within the southern region from 8am to 4pm on weekdays whilst cashiering services will proceed up to 2pm.
Visiting the new office space on its opening day, the director for taxpayer’s education and service delivery at the SRC, Ms. Sheryl Barra said: “There has always been the need for SRC to extend its services within the southern part of Mahe, taking into consideration the distance taxpayers have to commute to Providence or Victoria to be assisted.
“The difficulty in obtaining the right location in the south was a challenge to ensure that parking facility is available and that long queues on tax payment due dates can be catered for.
“The move to ‘Maison Royale’ is part of the Commissions’ strategic plan to decentralize its services, to provide ease of access to taxpayers and we hope that the location is used effectively”.
Prior to moving to its new location, SRC rendered its services twice monthly in at the Public Utilities Cooperation Customer Service Centre Anse Royale for payment of taxes only.
Strengthening its presence in the southern region, the office will have two permanent officers attending to taxpayers five days per week, will cater for all domestic tax related services such as business registration, filing of returns and payments, provision of advice as well as dedicated request for tax clearance, withholding tax and income tax certificates.
Supporting its continued growth, SRC is encouraging taxpayers to make ample use of its new office for ease of doing business, to alleviate constraints such as parking and long queues as the monthly (21st of every month) and yearly tax due date’s draws near (31 March 2026).
