The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) has today hosted its annual tax forum with registered tax agents and accountants in the Seychelles, as part of its strategy to foster a collaborative environment, build compliance and encourage a two-way communication with SRC.
The session held at the Docklands Auditorium provided the tax agents and accountants the opportunity to gain insights on the latest regulatory changes, SRC’s pathway to digitalization, continuous efforts being made to strengthen Seychelles commitments in the field of international taxation as well as the compliance behavior of taxpayers identified through audits and enforcement measures conducted in 2025.
Towards the end of the forum, the tax agents and accountants had the chance to ask questions, clarify doubts and obtain clarifications on issues raised. The tax agents and accountants also used this opportune time to meet with the members of the management staff present at the forum on a one-to-one basis, including representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment.
The session led by the Commissioner of Tax, Ms. Gayathri Chetty also saw the attendance of the SRC’s Commissioner General, representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment, including the Chairperson of the Tax and Customs Agent Board (TACAB).
Following the success of the forum, SRC wishes to thank all the tax agents and accountants for their active participation and counts on their continued support for maintaining the ongoing engagement with their clients in providing the latest information related to changes within the tax laws and processes taking place at SRC.
