TAX OFFICER LEVEL III – AUDIT SECTION (1 POST)

Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for examination of financial statements of businesses to ensure compliance with the revenue laws in order to improve revenue yield for the Government.

Qualifications and Competence

• Diploma in Business Studies & Accounting plus AAT Level 3 plus successful completion of minimum 6 Modules in Tax Development Course plus minimum 3 years’ relevant experience;
• ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1 to F3) plus successful completion of 6 Modules in Tax Development Course plus minimum 3 years’ relevant experience;
• Diploma in Business Studies & Accounting or AAT Level 4 plus successful completion of minimum 6 modules in Tax Development Course plus minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
• Association of Tax Technician qualification (ATT)  or equivalent plus minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Management/Administration, Commerce or ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1 to F9)
• ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1 to F3) plus successful completion of minimum 3 papers in ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business plus minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
