SENIOR CUSTOMS OFFICER – SITZ & EXCISE TAX UNIT – (1 POST)

Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for attending to duties relating to the control and movement of legitimated goods in and out of the SITZ designated zone in alerting   the designated Supervisor‘s attention on all anomalies detected in respect of cargo/conveyances verification  to ensure proper classification and collection of  duties

Qualifications and Experience:

• Advanced Diploma in Business Studies or Business Management or AAT Final Certificate or ACCA Level one or any business / trade related field plus two years satisfactory work experience; OR
• Diploma in Customs Management or Customs Administration or any business / trade related field or AAT intermediate plus three years satisfactory work experience; OR
• Certificate in Customs Management or Customs Administration or Taxation or any business or trade related field or AAT Preliminary plus four years satisfactory work experience; OR
• Two ‘A’ levels or equivalent in any of the following subjects; either English or French or Accounting or Mathematics or Economics or Law or Business at grades A-D plus five years satisfactory work experience.
