The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) has today announced that effective Wednesday,18 January 2023, its service counters located at the Green Corner Building in Providence will move to Room 115 in the ‘Leve Debrouye’ Micro Enterprise Complex located at Zone 18, Providence.
Easily accessible to businesses within the area and beyond, the new office will be operated by two cashiers on weekdays from 8.30am to 2.15pm for lodging of business activity statements (BAS) and payment of domestic taxes including income tax, value added tax, P.A.Y.G withholding, business tax, tourism marketing tax, presumptive tax, immovable property tax payment, tax on residential rent and corporate social responsibility arrears.
The office will also facilitate the collection of payments on behalf of Industrial Estate Authority (IEA) only.
Providing a more comfortable setting with adequate parking space, the new office will enable the Commission to further enhance operational efficiencies and improve customer experience.
The Commission will also have its Advisory Officers on site during the first week of operation on Wednesday and Friday between 8am to 3.30pm and consecutively throughout the year on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The services being offered in the new facility will also include business registration, information about taxpayers’ rights and obligations, as well as general tax and customs related queries.
SRC is encouraging taxpayers to make ample use of its new office once opened, as the Commission further aims to decentralize its services in an effort to alleviate constraints such as parking and long queues specifically around the monthly tax payment deadline (on 21st of each month) for ease of doing business.
