The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) hosted an appreciation ceremony in recognition of the hard work and dedication of its remarkable group of Human Resource Officers and Internal Auditors.
The ceremony held on Friday 29 May 2026, at Maison Collet Head Office marked International Human Resources Professionals Day and Internal Audit Awareness Month, two key functions, important in enabling SRC achieve its mandate and daily operations with high standards, integrity, strict governance and organizational excellence.
The Acting Commissioner General of the SRC, Mr. Fred Morel, joined by the Director General for Support Services, Ms. Christelle Betsy addressed the twenty-two professionals during the short ceremony with immense gratitude commending the roles of human resource officers as critical yet impactful in bringing the Commission together, ensuring staff members remains at the center of development, whilst also saluting the internal auditors for their continuous efforts in assessing and identifying risks, improving corporate governance, compliance to internal policies and operating procedures, promoting accountability, transparency, and professionalism, essential values echoed by the Commission throughout its operations.
The ceremony which concluded with a traditional cake cutting ceremony reaffirmed SRC’s commitment to fostering a positive culture of gratitude and recognition where every employee is valued for their ongoing contribution and commitment.
