The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) is inviting all newly registered taxpayers to join its educative workshop set to be held at the National Museum Conference Room in Victoria this upcoming Monday, 14 July, 2025.
The workshop will allow taxpayers the opportunity to learn about tax and customs procedures, the services offered by the commission, procedures for lodgment of returns and payment of taxes including customs duties and levies as applicable. The session will also focus on taxpayers’ rights and obligations, the administration of revenue laws and penalties, the role of customs and the process for importation amidst others.
Taxpayers attending the informative session will have the opportunity to request for further guidance and address any challenges being encountered in maintaining compliance to the revenue laws. Taxpayers will also have the chance to meet with key officers who will be on site on a –one-to-one basis to clarify any doubts.
Presentations to be delivered and discussions to be held at the workshop will also be essential for those planning to start their business in the near future. As this is a great opportunity for potential business owners to know the procedures required on their end when it comes to customs and taxation, the SRC is also calling all potential business owners to seize this occasion to learn more about the commission to ensure the right procedures are adopted and compliance is maintained.
